 Rutledge
Lake RV Park is owned by the Cogdill
family, with Gathai assuming the
role of primary owner and Park
Manager since August 2008. This is a
second career for Gathai, who is
also an experienced, registered
cardiac nurse. She came to Western
North Carolina by way of Thailand,
Tehran, Illinois, Albuquerque, and
Houston, and has since developed a
strong attachment to the mountains
and people of the area.
